This December we’ve had the pleasure of participating in the annual Festival of Light 2022 (Festival de la Luz 2022) in the beautiful village of Puerto Jimenez. Locals as well as visitors from different parts of the world came together to witness the show. The event takes inspiration from the great San Jose Festival de la Luz which also takes place every December. Many schools, music groups, institutions, communities, and student groups participate in the Festival of Light allowing the visitors to witness and appreciate local music as well as typical Costa Rican dances and crafts providing everyone who comes with a great spectacle of color and joy during the Christmas holidays.
