As we bid farewell to 2023, the charming village of Puerto Jiménez once again embraced the festive spirit with the much-anticipated Festival of Light. The heart of this year's celebration was the enchanting debut of several carrousels, including two crafted to capture the essence of Botánika and Crocodile Bay. Amidst the colorful festivities, our beloved Santa carousel took the spotlight, stealing hearts and clinching a well-deserved victory in the festival’s competition. A special thank you goes out to our incredible team, especially the talented Damas del Hogar, whose hard work and creativity made these magical displays possible.

Year after year, the Festival of Light, drawing inspiration from the renowned Festival de la Luz in San Jose, attracts both locals and visitors worldwide to witness the dazzling spectacle unfolding in Puerto Jiménez. The event is a vibrant tapestry of talent, featuring schools, music groups, and various institutions all coming together to celebrate the holiday season in a distinctive Costa Rican fashion.
