On June 10, 2023, a remarkable event took place as our team joined forces with COPROT, a local turtle conservation organization, for a significant beach cleanup held at Playa Carate. This initiative garnered an overwhelming response from the community, with many enthusiastic individuals from the area turning up to extend their support and actively participate. As the day progressed, these volunteers divided into groups, all united by a common goal – safeguarding our beaches and the precious marine life they harbor. All groups together managed to gather an impressive 340kg/750lb of waste, a testament to the power of community action.
