At Botánika Osa Peninsula, we are incredibly proud to shine a spotlight on Brisa Hennessy, our local surfing prodigy who represented Costa Rica at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Brisa’s journey from the serene beaches of Matapalo to the prestigious Olympic stage is a story of passion, resilience, and extraordinary talent.

At Botánika Osa Peninsula, we are proud to introduce the Crocodile Bay Sport Fishing Educational Cooperative, a unique initiative spearheaded by our esteemed Fishing Director, Diego Camacho. Now in its second year, this program exemplifies our commitment to giving back to the community and promoting responsible fishing practices.

On Saturday, June 8th, Botánika Resort participated in a meaningful volunteer activity with COPROT (Protector Community of the Osa Turtles) at their turtle hatchery in Playa Carate. Our mission involved replacing approximately 32 tons of sand, transported from the beach to the hatchery by our dedicated team.
