The Golfo Dulce is one of only four tropical fjords in the world and has one of the highest concentrations of sailfish, and there is no stronger attraction to or greater symbolism of the Osa Peninsula and Golfo Dulce than our epic sport fishing. It’s no wonder this is where avid anglers from all around the world come to fish, including Oscar-winning actors, sitcom stars, musicians, and World Series and Superbowl winners.

Crocodile Bay Resort boasts the largest professional sport fishing team in Central America with in-house captains and mates catering to all skill levels. The crew provides education and training to ensure you enjoy the fishing adventure of a lifetime. Crocodile Bay Resort fishing includes all fishing licenses, lunch, beverages (beer and soft drinks), high-end gear, live bait, and a bilingual crew with a vast knowledge of the area. Our fleet comprises 33 and 35-foot Strike Tower boats as well as 24 and 25-foot Boston Whaler Outrages. Our boats are outfitted with Penn International 50s and 30s, and both Penn spinning and conventional gear in 20 and 30-pound outfits. We use Temple Fork Fly Fishing gear on-site but we welcome anglers to bring their own gear if they prefer.

INSHORE FISHING
Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula is one of the most exciting destinations in the world for inshore fishing. After a short 45-minute trip to the mouth of this picturesque gulf, you will be ready to chase an amazing variety of inshore species in the comfort of a Boston Whaler or Strike Yacht. Hook a 25 to 50-pound Roosterfish, a dozen different kinds of Snapper including Cubera, Broomtail Grouper and Goliath Grouper, Barracuda, several types of Jacks, Snook, Bonito, Mackerel, African Pompano, Bluefin Trevally, Rainbow Runners, shark, and many more.
OFFSHORE FISHING
Travel further out into our cobalt waters and find Blue Marlin year round, Black Marlin especially in July and August, Striped Marlin, Sailfish (with increasing numbers from November to May), Dorado especially from January through May and November to December, 100-pound yellowfin tuna, and the occasional wahoo. Fishing at Crocodile Bay Resort in Costa Rica is world-class with catch and release bill fishing in the Pacific Ocean.
